CFS EREQ – CFS Required Procurement | Financial Services at Sonoma State University

CFS EREQ should be utilized for requesting items to be entered into CFS for financial tracking, these can include but are not limited to:

Purchase Order, including blankets
Service Order, including blankets
Contract/Agreement/Memorandum of Understanding

Software license or subscription including free

CFS EREQ must be submitted ahead of time and contract must be fully executed prior to service beginning or goods being delivered.

Please Note: Services or goods rendered without a contract in place ahead of time will be considered confirming order and the supplier/vendor might not get paid.

Turnaround Expectations

If you are submitting a ProCard request your EREQ turnaround time should be @ 3-4 business days.
If you are submitting a Purchase Order/Service Order request your EREQ turnaround time can be @ 2-3 weeks.
If you are submitting a contract request (non-IT) your EREQ turnaround time can be @ 3-4 weeks.
If you are submitting an EREQ that is IT related your EREQ turnaround time can be @ 8-10 weeks.
If you are submitting a bid your EREQ request time can be up to 6 months, based on complexity.

Please note the above turnaround times are achievable as long as EREQ submittals are complete and accurate and the suppliers are being responsive with 204’s, insurance, other required documentation, negotiations and signature.
